Bryce Canyon

I wish I could say I remember Bryce Canyon from my 2000 trip. I remember Arches very well and Canyonlands fairly well, but I don’t really remember Bryce Canyon. Maybe it was too similar to the others? I did at least get a beautiful photo.

I do remember Zion National Park. Zion is gorgeous and different from other parks in Utah. It is a long narrow slot canyon with walking trails that just draw you in.

The columbines were blooming when we were there, filling the canyon walls with a hanging garden of color. I have always wanted to go back to Zion again to see how it looked through different seasons, but haven’t been able to yet.

When we left Bryce and Zion, we still had a lot of trip ahead of us. We headed south and east to Mesa Verde, which I’ve already posted on Picasa World in the Colorado category.

As always, I enjoyed using Picasa to stroll down memory lane and to work on the Bryce Canyon and Zion photos. I only had to crop them, adjust lighting and add a museum matte frame.
