There are many gardens in Tokyo but the Shinjuku Gyoen Garden is one of the largest. It has big open areas and is full of schoolchildren during the week and people of all ages on weekends.
We were lucky enough to be in Tokyo while the cherry blossoms were blooming, and this is my favorite photo of them.
The colors in the picture were very dull since the photo was taken on a cloudy day, plus the photo had faded since 1990. I used sharpen, glow, boost, comic book and auto-contrast to boost the colors and contrast. I used crop, graduated tint, vignette and border to improve the overall composition.
