When we were in Hong Kong in 1990, part of our city tour included a visit to the popular Tiger Balm Garden. This was an amusement park for kids that was built by the extremely wealthy family that owns the Tiger Balm medicinal ointment company. It was a bright and colorful park, and a real contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city around it.
Unfortunately, the park was demolished in 2004 and redeveloped. I was sad to find out it’s no longer there, since it seemed like an important part of Hong Kong.
This photo merely took some cropping, sharpening, graduated tint and color/contrast adjustments to make a much better composition. There is some discoloration near the top of the photo that I couldn’t completely hide. The original photo is below.
