Fallingwater is the world-famous Frank Lloyd Wright house built over a waterfall. I made sure to visit since it is fairly close to my parents’ West Virginia camping property. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area! The house is constructed over and around a waterfall, and integrates it into the cantilevered terraces. It is an incredible example of modern art and architectural design from the 1930s that is still innovative in many ways.

Of course it’s hard to take a bad picture of Fallingwater, but I did follow some Picasa steps to make the details more defined and heighten the contrast from the original photo below:

  • Crop
  • Sharpen
  • Graduated tint
  • HDR-ish
  • Soft focus
  • Glow
  • Vignette (in green)
  • Drop shadow frame
  • Auto contrast
